New Officials Needed!

RECRUITMENT OF NEW OFFICIALS

As you know our Association is not getting any younger (and we need to desperately). Please speak with any of friends and others who might be interested in officiating boys’ lacrosse.

As an incentive, if you recruit a new official this season and that person sticks with our advocation and rejoins the RMLOA by paying dues in 2023, you will earn a $25 credit towards your 2023 dues.

MENTORING NEW OFFICIALS

As with other things impacted by the Pandemic, we really need help to mentor newer officials. This will entail being paired up with your mentee and working games together. Spending a few minutes on the telephone or in-person (if permitted by county health regulations) each week with your mentee to answer any questions and provide insights into any issues that arose during his or her game and help with any rules questions/game situations. We encourage each of you consider helping as a mentor.
